Every year for the past 4 years, Warton Hall in Lytham St Annes has opened their family garden to the public for National Garden Scheme which “raises impressive amounts of money for nursing and health charities through admissions, teas and cake” each and every year.
100’s of gardens across the country spruce up their bluebells and open their gardens to raise money for various charities. During their time, craft and arts workshops are hosted in the grounds to add to the schedule of what’s on offer.
For the past 3 years, we’ve hosted our Beginners Modern Calligraphy workshop in Warton Hall’s arts studio where personal projects and a variety of workshops take place during the 4 days.
With floristry workshops with local florists Bond and Bloom, yoga, candle making along with water colour painting sessions - there is plenty to do and get stuck in with!
With another year done and dusted, we thoroughly enjoyed being part of the week and also what it represents.
Check out all the open gardens for next year and have a slice of cake while you’re there!
