Mellor & Rose are delighted to tell you a little about our Calligraphy Workshops & Hand Lettering Workshops.
We're Mellor & Rose Calligraphy; Calligraphers and Lettering Artists based in Lytham St Annes, North West of England. Made up of Beverley Mellor, Polly Mellor and Lucy Mellor - Mellor & Rose is a family business who are passionate about sharing the Joys of Calligraphy and all the good and mindful things it does to us.
We have the total joy of hosting our Modern Calligraphy, Brush Lettering and Chalk Lettering Workshops at beautiful venues and spaces across the UK. Alongside our Workshops, we offer Calligraphy Writing Services for Private Events such as Weddings and Parties to Brand work such as Live Event Calligraphy. BEGINNERS MODERN CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOPS

Mellor & Rose are delighted to welcome you to one of our upcoming Beginners Modern Calligraphy Workshops in 2023! We have the pleasure of hosting our Workshops at some beautiful venues and spaces across the UK ranging from the Lake District in Cumbria, right here in the North West to the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire and London. Each attendee has their own Calligraphy Box with materials inside to use in the Workshop and Take Home to practice with. Guided by 2 expert Tutors to ensure one-to-one tuition throughout the Workshop. Refreshments will always be provided (varied dependant on venue). HOW TO BOOK
Booking wise, we secure bookings with a £19 deposit sent via PayPal invoice to your email before the workshop with the remaining balance of £50 paid on the day. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferrable if notice is given 48 hours before the workshop.
FINE BRUSH PEN CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Brush pens are a little easier to pick up than a dip pen and are ideally suited if you want a slightly bolder looking lettering with a more relaxed, casual feel. The tip of the pen is pointed and flexible and (like the dip pen) responds to pressure in order for us to get those lovely thin up and heavier downstrokes. Brush pens lend themselves to both calligraphy and also hand lettering styles and during the Workshop we learn to contrast letter styles as well as moving onto larger wall art pieces! Complete with all materials and Coffee + Cake!

CORPORATE WELLBEING CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOPS

We're delighted to introduce you to our Corporate Wellbeing Calligraphy Workshops and Mindful Calligraphy Workshops. We have the pleasure of working with well known brands and clients including UCL and Spotify hosting our Corporate Wellbeing Workshops. In 2024, our Team Building and Corporate Wellbeing Workshops last 1.5 hours / 2 hours (Taster Workshops) priced at £39 per person with a minimum of 25 people. Workshops will take everyone through the core fundamentals of Calligraphy through to creating your own Gift Tags, Wall Art and Greetings Card whilst enjoying the mindful and therapeutic qualities of hand lettering.
