Hand lettering is fun to learn and relaxing to practice – join Mellor & Rose at Lytham Hall on their Christmas Bauble Lettering Workshop get started with this mindful, creative art form and personalise your own Baubles for the festive season!

Guided by expert tutors, you will begin by covering the fundamentals of how to hold the dip pen, learning the pressures and rhythms that give calligraphy its characteristic contrasting strokes before moving onto learning the upper and lower alphabet, how to link letters, first words and phrases. You will learn how to draw decorative illustrations and flourishes to complement your calligraphy lettering on stationery pieces. The second half of the workshop covers how to lay out greeting cards, letter up and design a piece of wall art along with luxury stationery items.

HOW TO BOOK?

Simply get in touch with Lucy Mellor either on Facebook or email at mellorandrose@icloud.com to book your spot on our upcoming Christmas Calligraphy Workshop in Lancashire.

Booking wise, we secure bookings with a £15 deposit sent via PayPal invoice to your email before the workshop with the remaining balance of £40 paid on the day. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferrable if notice is given 48 hours before the workshop.
